“The People’s perspective” -The aim of this blog sheds light on the otherwise unheard perspective of honest, hard working people, fighting below the breadline. Here are some of my own experiences, exploration of other’s experiences and event insights. Inspired by the “People’s assembly” campaign which exposes the true impacts of a Tory government; giving people a voice, and fighting against austerity. The fight from the peoples perspective, one you could be involved in.

SAVE OUR NHS
- Redefining hours, 7AM-10PM MON-SAT, no social hours, MORE stressful hours, they are brewing a recipe for disaster, “SHOW ME THE MP THAT DOES THESE HOURS” Junior doctors demand answers to these Inhumane propositions.
- Scrapping safeguarding, therefore there is no protection for us... the underlying fact is TIRED nurses and doctors make mistakes, we are all human! Without safeguarding this spirals all safety down the plughole.
- The contract looks like its been put together by an accounts manager, a bin man, a builder and a couple of solicitors, or perhaps put together in 15 minutes by a bunch of A-level fashion students who haven’t done their coursework. This is not on; this is people we are dealing with, not bloody cross-stitch.

- Middle school, aged 13, Mr Cash came to cloud our minds, all I recall is thinking what an arse, we care about whats on hot dinners not roadworks and statistics... Clearly setting the example and inspiring young minds to get involved with politics,
- My previous job working in a kitchen. I struggled with the bin bags across the car park, Mr Cash was on his way up to a conference meeting above the kitchen, as I struggled I smiled at Mr Cash out of respect, only to return a sneering look as he jolly bobbed of to his pleasant meeting. I wasn’t asking him to scrape dog muck of the floor, just common courtesy to the people you work with. And yes, although I am here in my tracksuit bottoms, smelly hair and salsa juice dripping of my trainers, you work with me. I did feel an urge to turn around and tell him how I earn my money honestly, but thought better of it, I knew we’d meet again.
- My third (and certainly not final) encounter is found here, in his holy grail, his pitch, his turf, the House of Commons.
All I received from this conversation was how long he has been in the constituency and how everyone "likes him…"
“ he will be here in five minutes” “ twenty minutes” “ I’m afraid he’s not coming”….
-and there’s the difference.
